Find a CIV Near You!

NCIV supports a network of 93 Community Organizations that help organize international exchange programs including the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), an exchange program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. The IVLP brings together professional counterparts and introduces International Visitors to U.S. culture. Local Community Organizations (CIVs) welcome International Visitors into small towns and big cities in nearly every state. More information on the IVLP is available at the U.S. Department of State website.
CIVs arrange local programs with appointments and cultural events for International Visitors in the IVLP, though citizen diplomacy can occur in a variety of ways. CIVs facilitate a great number of international exchange programs and globally focused activities, and often serve as international gateways for their communities.
There are lots of ways to get involved. Click on the map above to find a CIV in your area using Google Maps, or find a list of CIVs in each state here!
