NCIV Network News: Social Media at the National Meeting and the Great Chocolate Challenge
January 2012
Using Social Media at the National Meeting?
In keeping with the theme of NCIV’s National Meeting “One Story at a Time,” we are calling on all users of Twitter and Facebook to spread the message! Keep your fans and followers up to date with what’s happening at the National Meeting. If you are tweeting, include the hashtag #nciv1story, and if you are on Facebook, remember that you can “tag” us in your posts by typing “@National Council for International Visitors.”
Also, don't forget to connect to the NCIV Network now and throughout the conference to hear stories about the impact of citizen diplomacy. Maybe one of the stories being retold will be your own. Connect with NCIV online at: www.facebook.com/NCIVnetwork and twitter.com/NCIVnetwork
The Great Chocolate Challenge!
Tell us what citizen diplomacy means to you, in 500 words or less, or in a short film (1-3min), and you could win 10 pounds of Guittard Chocolate!
The best entry, as judged by Cari Guittard and a small committee, will win a 10lb Guittard chocolate bar. The winning submission will be featured during Guittard's remarks at the Citizen Diplomacy Luncheon at the NCIV National Meeting.
