Initiatives

In addition to the advocacy work we do to educate members of Congress regarding international exchange programs and to orchestrate our members' efforts to encourage Congress to fund educational and cultural exchange programs at higher and higher levels, NCIV also promotes specific initiatives designed to actively promote citizen diplomacy. These programs aim not only to provide more resources for those involved in citizen diplomacy (specifically volunteers and educators), but also to ensure that these citizen diplomats and their tireless work are properly recognized.
