NCIV is currently seeking candidates for the following position:
Program Associate, Communications and Technology
The Program Associate for Communications and Technology reports to the Director for ePrograms and Administration and is responsible for the electronic communication functions and technology needs of NCIV. The Mission of NCIV is to promote excellence in citizen diplomacy and the Program Associate will be expected to help NCIV utilize technology appropriately to achieve this goal. The principal tasks are to maintain NCIV’s databases, website, and the operation of all office equipment including phones, servers, workstations, printers and copiers. Another responsibility will be to research and make recommendations on a new web-based system of membership contact data. Daily tasks may also include: facilitating the production of NCIV publications; creating and maintaining NCIV's electronic communication functions, including e-mail lists, NCIV's Local Area Network, NCIV databases, conference registration tracking and the NCIV website. In addition, the Program Associate works with NCIV staff and NCIV members to incorporate technology into their daily workflow, learn new software, and use computer technology to best advantage.
