The National Council for International Visitors (NCIV) annual National Meeting serves as an opportunity to exchange ideas, develop knowledge, and cultivate skills in support of the International Visitor Leadership Program and other exchanges. The 2011 National Meeting is funded in large part through NCIV’s cooperative agreement with the Office of International Visitors, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, U.S. Department of State.
This year we will be celebrating NCIV's 50th Anniversary, beginning with the 50th Anniversary Gala on February 16, and continuing with the 2011 National Meeting. NCIV Network members will come to Washington, DC from across the country to explore creative solutions to shared challenges, learn about upcoming trends in programming, and network with partners and colleagues.
New Grant Opportunity: A special initiative with this year's National Meeting will be the NCIV Citizen Diplomacy Program for Emerging Leaders. Funded through a grant from the Mitubishi Electric America Foundation, six students from across the country will be selected to attend the 2011 National Meeting. Program guidelines can be found in the application form at this link.
