Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Supports 2008 National Meeting
by Matt Kinshella, NCIV Staff
For five years, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters has displayed unwavering support for NCIV and the promotion of excellence in citizen diplomacy. This year, Green Mountain Coffee is a sponsor for the 2008 NCIV National Meeting and is generously donating coffee to all participants as well as various other gifts.
Founded in 1981, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters has grown from a small café in Waitsfield, Vermont to one of the nation’s leading specialty coffee companies. Green Mountain Coffee serves over 8,000 customer accounts and is enjoyed by thousands more, including the staff here at NCIV and National Meeting participants of years past. Along with providing customers with a unique coffee experience, Green Mountain Coffee also works hard to promote a sustainable future, an environmentally conscious business model, and fair trade practices throughout the world. NCIV is proud to continue its partnership with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, a company that embodies this year’s NCIV National Meeting theme: “Citizen Diplomacy- Democracy in Action.”
